Major General Isamuhyo Stadium
It is the home of JKT Tanzania , the club of the national service, and of the women's side, JKT Queens .
That changed in stages. In January 2024 word came of a rebuild, carried out by the contractor Reform Sports and finished across 2024 and 2025. By the 2025 season the ground had a second tenant: Simba S.C. began playing home matches at Mbweni, and in April 2026 the club set out its reasoning when a derby was moved there.
The naming tells its own story of that shift. The spelling wanders too — Isamuhi and Isamhyo both turn up in print.
What the record does not carry is a construction date. No opening year appears in the available material, which leaves the arena's arrival at Mbweni an open question even as its current fixture list fills out.
