Majosi Sportpálya

Majosi Sportpálya sits not in Bonyhád itself but in Majos, and the pitch answers to that scale: six hundred places, a run of natural turf, and little else asked of it. The ground opened in 1989 and has carried the same name and the same capacity ever since, with no record of an expansion or a rebuild breaking that run.

Majosi SE, formed in 1964, has called it home for longer than the stadium itself has stood, and the club now plays in the NB III Dél-Nyugati group, the third tier of Hungarian football. At this level the ground does what it needs to and nothing more — there is no second stand to speak of, no history of concerts or finals staged there, just a club and a pitch that have outlasted most changes around them.
