Mangueirao

Before it had a roof over the terraces it already had a name: Bandola . Alcyr Meira signed the design in 1969 for 120,000 spectators, a figure cut to 70,000 before the first concrete was poured; when the gates finally opened in 1978, after seven years of building, the ground held 45,007.

The ground opened as Estádio Alacid Nunes, and kept that name until the reconstruction of 2002, after which it was reinaugurated as Estádio Olímpico do Pará, honouring the journalist Edgar Proença.

It is not one club's ground. Remo , Paysandu and Tuna Luso all play here, and the record crowd came from a meeting of the first two: 65,000 on 11 July 1999, for a Campeonato Paraense final that Remo won 1–0.

The ground reopened for the 2023 Campeonato Paraense; in 2024 it drew 54,864, and in February 2025 it staged the Supercopa do Brasil final, Flamengo beating Botafogo 3–1.
