Medical Park Arena

The ground stands in the Akyazı district. The original venue closed in 2017 and was demolished a year later, leaving a gap in the city centre that this new facility filled. The structure sits on Akyazı Yolu, just off the state highway.

Inside, the pitch is covered in SISGrass hybrid surface, a standard for top-flight Turkish football. The capacity is reported as 41,461 by the contractor, though other sources list figures closer to 41,000. The discrepancy does not stop the ground from filling up; the club set an official record of 41,461 for a league match against Beşiktaş in the 2025/2026 season.

The stadium has changed its name several times since it opened in December 2016. It began as Medical Park Arena, became Medical Park Stadyumu, and is now Papara Park, though the official designation remains the Şenol Güneş Sports Complex. It hosted the Turkish national team in a Nations League defeat against Russia in 2018.

Not everything has been smooth for the venue. The club’s title celebration in April 2022 damaged the pitch so severely that they were forced to move their next home game to Istanbul. In March 2024, the ground was closed for six matches following safety violations after a match against Fenerbahçe. The structure remains in Trabzon, providing the club with a modern base after the old stadium’s demolition.
