Megoroba Stadium

The Megoroba Stadium is a compact municipal ground on Rustaveli Street, close enough to the railway station to walk from it. FC Mertskhali Ozurgeti play their home matches here, though the club runs without an official website of its own, its fixtures and results tracked mainly through outside aggregators rather than any in-house channel.

The ground itself dates to the late 1960s, opened in 1968 after construction the year before, and it has kept its natural grass pitch since. There is no grand rebuild story attached to it, no continental fixture that reshaped the stands — it has simply stayed what it was built to be, a municipally owned field serving local football in Guria.
