Mesti Stadion Fazanerija

Mestni Stadion Fazanerija sits in the quiet town of Murska Sobota. It was built with public donations and a small contribution from the Drava Banate, originally named Stadion Viteškega Kralja Aleksandra I. Zedinitelja in honour of King Alexander I of Yugoslavia. Today, it is known by the name of the park in which it is situated. The main stand was constructed in 1983, but the real transformation came later. A major renovation phase between 2018 and 2020 saw the installation of floodlights on four 42-metre high masts, allowing for evening matches and HD broadcast standards.

What makes this ground different is how it has lived through changes. It was the home for NK Mura for decades, then ND Mura 05, and now NŠ Mura since 2013. The capacity is approximately 5,000, though sources disagree on the exact split between seated and standing places. The highest recorded attendance was 6,000 for Mura 05 vs. Nafta in 2011. The pitch is natural grass, with an illuminated reserve pitch with artificial turf nearby. It has hosted the first leg of the 1994 Slovenian Cup final and the second leg of the 1995 final. It was also selected to host the 2019/20 Slovenian Cup final.

International matches have been played here too. Slovenia played Czech Republic in 1998 and Hungary in 2003, both friendlies. More recently, they played Latvia in a Euro 2025 qualifier in 2024. A match against Croatia on June 19, 1991, was played there but is not officially recognised by the Slovenian Football Association as it took place before the association's founding. The women's team, ŽNK Mura, also plays here. A notable concert by Vlado Kreslin and his band Mali bogovi took place on May 18, 2024. The main stand rooms, locker rooms, and a press center were all renovated in the last phase.
