Mestni stadion
Ptuj's ground carries the town's habit of understatement into its architecture: a natural pitch, and a second surface next door reserved purely for training rather than matchday. 3,000 is the listed capacity, though 2,207 of those places are seated.
The stadium opened in 1954, which puts it among the older football grounds still in use in the country, and it has kept its name unchanged since. No rebrand, no relocation — just the same address on Čučkova ulica, a short walk from the old town.
What sets it apart locally isn't scale but continuity: while plenty of similar-sized Slovenian clubs have shuffled between temporary venues or shared municipal pitches, Ptuj has stuck with one ground and one identity throughout. The training pitch alongside the main field is a detail worth noting too — not every third-tier ground in Slovenia has the room, or the need, for a dedicated secondary surface.
