Mestsky fotbalovy stadion Miroslava Valenty

This functional exterior belies the history contained within. The current structure opened in 2003, replacing a much older facility that once held over 11,000 spectators and featured an athletics track. The rebuild was part of a national initiative to modernise Czech football venues for top-flight standards.

Officially, the ground is named after Miroslav Valenta, a long-time club president who died in 2008. Before that, it was known simply as the City Football Stadium, though it was often referred to commercially as Synot Arena.

The capacity is capped at 8,121, with every seat covered. The stadium has hosted international matches, including a World Cup qualifier against San Marino where the Czech Republic won comfortably. It has also seen concerts and, more recently, renovations ahead of the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. The turnstiles and facilities were updated then, but the basic layout remains unchanged.
