FC Zbrojovka Brno play here, built on an old brickyard with funding from the city.

The club arrived at the venue in 2001 after a major reconstruction funded by the city council. The project replaced dilapidated stands to meet UEFA standards, installing 1,200 lux lighting and covered seating. The pitch remains natural grass, equipped with undersoil heating, and saw a complete replacement including subsoil and irrigation in 2024. The current official capacity is 10,200, as the stadium is now strictly all-seater.
