Městský stadion v Kotlině has stayed there ever since, home to FK Varnsdorf.

What sets this stadium apart is a promotion the club turned down. In the 2014/15 season Varnsdorf finished second in the second tier. The ground could not meet the football association's requirements for a first-division venue — no covered stand, too few seats among the 4,100 capacity — and the club stayed put. Fastav Zlín took the place instead.

A 2014 refurbishment, costing around 15 million koruna, brought some modernisation, though it never stretched to the covered seating the top division demands. The pitch remains natural grass, and only 900 of the total capacity are seated places.
