Midjord kunstgras
Stavanger, Norway
The ground at Midjordgata 36 sits within the Midjord bydelsanlegg, a district sports facility. The current layout is defined by its artificial turf, a surface laid in 2004 when the original grass pitch was replaced.
The main pitch itself carries the name NSE-banen. It is a functional space.
History here is layered. An original stadium date back to 1919 once stood on this site, long before the current infrastructure. The club consolidated its activities at Midjord prior to 2010, bringing together scattered operations into one central location.
Further development came later. A second pitch, Bate-banen, was completed in 2012 specifically for youth teams. There is no under-soil heating, so the ground plays true to the Norwegian winter.
The focus remains on the weekly grind of the 3rd Division.
