Millennium
Cardiff, United Kingdom
Formerly: Millennium Stadium, National Stadium of Wales
The surface is a Desso GrassMaster hybrid system, installed in 2014. While Arsenal played there for the 2026 FA Community Shield, the venue is far more permanent than that one match suggests. It hosted the 2017 UEFA Champions League Final, where Real Madrid faced Juventus, and during UEFA competitions it was known as the National Stadium of Wales to comply with regulations. The capacity for football matches stands at 73,931, a figure set after the major redevelopment completed in 2015 for the Rugby World Cup. The official all-time attendance record of 74,609 was set on May 17, 2008, during a Six Nations match between Wales and France that secured the Grand Slam. The stadium has also witnessed history outside sport, hosting concerts by U2, Oasis, and The Rolling Stones.
