Stadium
Milltown
Dublin, Ireland
Formerly: Milltown
Milltown was the previous home of Shamrock Rovers, a site that existed from 1926 until its demolition in 1990.
Shamrock Rovers moved to the new ground in the opening year of its existence. The capacity of the ground is 10,547, a figure that was slightly higher during a friendly match against Real Madrid on 20 July 2009, when the record attendance of 10,915 was set. The playing surface is natural grass.
The venue is distinct from the Milltown stadium in Warrenpoint, Northern Ireland, home to Warrenpoint Town, and from the original site that is now long gone.
