Mito Shinkin Bank Stadium

The Mito HollyHock moved here for the 2026-27 season from K's denki Stadium, which is a different facility. The grounds are situated within the Kasamatsu Sports Park, and while the venue opened in 1973 as the Kasamatsu Sports Park Athletic Stadium.

Mikami Architects handled that work. The name is written across the top in large Japanese characters: Mito Shinkin Bank Stadium.

Inside, the track is a deep red, and it separates the pitch from the nearest spectators. The seating rises sharply behind the goal, packed with blue. The floodlights are mounted on tall, singular poles rather than integrated into the roof structure, and they cast a bright, focused glare on the grass. The bench area is covered by a long, white tunnel, with advertising for Aqua Pharmacy and Ibaraki Shimbun visible along its length. The atmosphere here is shaped by proximity; the distance between the touchline and the crowd is short, and the roof overhangs the stands, creating a sense of enclosure. The facility hosts matches for the J2 League, but its character is defined by that 2018 intervention, which gave the old park a new face.
