Monjasa Park

Monjasa Park stands on Vestre Ringvej, north-west of the Fredericia town centre, and carries a sponsor's name that arrived only after the ground had spent well over a decade as Fredericia Stadion. It opened on 2 September 2006, following a year of construction, and has been the home of FC Fredericia ever since.

At 6,000 capacity, it belongs to the tier of Danish grounds built for a solid provincial club rather than for European nights: a natural grass pitch, no distinguishing tier of executive boxes to speak of, nothing that marks it out on the continental circuit. What defines it locally is simpler — Fredericia, a town of shipyards and rail junctions on the Little Belt, has had one senior football address for twenty years, and this is it.
