Stadium
MorumBIS
Formerly: Estádio Cícero Pompeu de Toledo, Morumbi
The land was blessed on 15 August 1952 , but the ground the club moved into on 2 October 1960 was not the ground that stands today: work carried on for another decade, and Morumbi was only completed in 1970 . Сисеру Помпеу де Толедо , the São Paulo president who pushed the project through, died before the work ended. The stadium carries his name officially: Estádio Cícero Pompeu de Toledo . Almost nobody uses it.
The design came from Жуан Батиста Виланова Артигас .
Since December 2023 the arena has been sold as MorumBIS , under a three-year naming agreement with Mondelez International .
Capacity depends on which configuration is being counted — the figure most often quoted is 66 795 . The pitch is natural grass, 105 × 68 metres.
