Austria's national side, men's, women's and U21s, have also used it as a neutral or secondary venue over the years.

Its one recent moment of infamy came in a 2016 Europa League tie against Slovan Liberec, when the floodlights failed and held the match up for roughly 45 minutes — the kind of story that sticks to a ground longer than any result does.

The pitch is natural grass, the address sits on Johann Steinböck-Straße in Maria Enzersdorf's Südstadt district, and an AMP Architekten scheme for renovating and expanding the arena has been mooted, though neither a timeline nor a budget for that work has been made public.
