Murray H. Goodman Stadium

The goalposts came down in 2024, carried out of the ground and dropped into the river.

The ground opened on 1 October 1988, and its first fixture was Lehigh against Cornell — a 27:14 home win. It replaced Taylor Stadium, which had served the university since 1914 and closed the year before. The build cost 5.25 million dollars at the time.

The playing surface was lifted entirely in 2009 and relaid as sand-based bluegrass sod, with a new irrigation system beneath it. In 2019 the west-side skyboxes were rebuilt and renamed the John J. Harmon '59 Skybox after a family donation, the press box moved across to the east side, and new lifts, sound system and video board went in — all of it privately funded.

The Philadelphia Eagles held their training camp here and across the Lehigh campus from 1996 to 2012; a 2004 practice session involving Terrell Owens drew a crowd of roughly 25,000 to the surrounding grounds.

The United States played Ukraine here on 23 October 1993, a friendly the hosts lost 0:1. The NCAA Division I women's lacrosse finals were staged at the stadium in 1992, 1996 and 1997.
