The facility was originally known as the Mostovik Ice Palace, a name it carried until September 14, 2010, when it was officially renamed in Paryshev’s honor. Inside, the ice surface is artificial, maintained year-round by a dedicated compressor station and a reverse osmosis water filtration system. The ceiling height reaches 12 meters above the 2,500 spectators who can fill the stands.
Today, the arena serves as the home for HC Zauralye, which competes in the Supreme Hockey League (VHL), and HC Junior, a team in the Junior Hockey League (MHL).
