Nammo Stadion
The plan was for six thousand seats. What Raufoss got, when the gates opened on 13 June 2015, held 1,800. That gap between what was drawn and what was built is the first thing to know about Nammo Stadion .
The push came from the club. Raufoss Fotball initiated the project, with Vestre Toten kommune and Oppland county carrying part of the cost. No builder or architect is on record for the work.
Through 2016 the infrastructure was improved: undersoil heating went in, floodlights went up, and more of the seating was brought under a roof. Of the 1,800 the ground now takes, 1,600 are seats. The surface is artificial — kunstgress.
It is worth saying plainly what it is not: Nammo Stadion is in Raufoss, not in Hamar. The ground at Hamar is Брискебю Стадион , a different arena entirely, and the two are sometimes confused.
