National Olympic Stadium / Morodok Techo National Stadium

Morodok Techo National Stadium Built by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation and funded by a grant from the Chinese government, the venue rose from empty land in the Chroy Changvar district between 2017 and 2021.

The opening ceremony of the 32nd SEA Games in May 2023 marked a moment when the 60,000 seats were packed. While local clubs typically use smaller venues for their weekly fixtures, the ground has served as a stage for high-profile encounters. The playing surface is a GrassMaster hybrid system manufactured by Desso Sports. The name 'Morodok Techo' translates to 'Glorious Heritage' or 'Legacy of Glory', reflecting the intent behind the project rather than commercial sponsorship. Although some sources cite capacities of 70,000 or 75,000, the figure of 60,000 is the one most consistently associated with the structure since its inauguration by Prime Minister Hun Sen on December 18, 2021.

The stadium also hosted the first international cricket match in Cambodia, a Women's T20I between Cambodia and Singapore in February 2023, signaling its broader utility beyond football. However, its primary role remains tied to the national team, which uses it as its main base. The location on Preaek Ta Sek commune keeps it separate from the dense urban centre, allowing for the vast footprint required for such a capacity without disrupting the surrounding neighbourhood.
