New Suez Stadium

Suez, Egypt

Formerly: Mubarak Stadium

The ground sits on Al-Galaa Street along the Hurghada–Ismailia Highway. It opened in 1990 and claims a capacity of 27,000, though the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations saw a temporary adjustment to 20,500 to meet all-seater requirements.

Petrojet SC is the primary tenant. They are set to merge with Suez SC in 2026. The venue also hosts Montakhab Elsuees and Asmant El-Suweis.

It staged Group E matches involving Tunisia, Mali, Angola and Mauritania, as well as a Round of 16 tie between Mali and the Ivory Coast. The Quarter-final against Algeria, which ended 1-1 and was decided by penalties, was marked by disciplinary incidents involving Eric Bailly. The highest recorded attendance was 10,120 for the Mauritania vs. Angola match.

The stadium was formerly known as Mubarak Stadium, a name distinct from the Mubarak International Stadium, which is a separate venue built in 2009.
