Newroz Stadium

Newroz Stadium opened its doors in 2024. It stands apart from the older Sulaymaniyah Stadium, which has hosted matches since 1956, and serves as the home for Newroz SC.

The venue sits within the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The pitch is natural grass, a standard surface for the Iraq Stars League, but the stadium lacks undersoil heating. No attendance record has been established yet as the stadium is relatively new. The crowd was there to see the football, not the history.
