NKU Soccer Stadium

FC Cincinnati II play their home matches on an artificial surface. This setup reflects the venue’s origins as a campus facility rather than a professional ground; the stadium opened in August 2009 to serve the Northern Kentucky University Norse, who moved onto the site from a previous location in Wilder.

The playing field itself carries the weight of its academic history. The men’s team won the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2010, using this exact patch of turf for their home matches during that campaign. The ground has since adapted to the local football structure.

There is a sense of transition in the way the facility is presented. The stadium underwent a naming rights change in August 2022, when it was renamed Scudamore Field at NKU Soccer Stadium following a gift from the estate of Joyce "Brenda" Hoskins. The concrete and the turf remain the same, built by MSA Design and Sportworks Design to replace the old off-campus grounds. The address is 209 Johns Hill Rd, Highland Heights, KY 41099, though it is often associated with Louie B. Nunn Drive, the major thoroughfare adjacent to the campus. The venue is managed as part of the university's athletic facilities, accessible via the NKU Athletics website, and there is no separate official website for the stadium itself.
