Noah Stadium

The listing calls it Noah Stadium, but the ground in Abovyan carries a different name on its gates: Vahagn Tumasyan Stadium. FC Noah, a club that trains and does its business out of Yerevan, plays its home fixtures roughly twenty minutes away in a smaller town that has hosted football far longer than the club itself has existed.

The ground opened in 1966 as Kotayk Stadium and carried that name for four decades before a 2006 rebuild brought it in as Abovyan City Stadium, trimming capacity from 5,500 down to 3,946 seats. It kept that identity until the 2021–22 renovation, after which it reopened under its current name and settled at 3,100 seats, well below what it once held. FC Noah only moved its fixtures here from the 2023–24 season, adopting a stadium that had already been rebuilt twice under other clubs' colours.

That arrangement is meant to be temporary. The club has plans for a purpose-built home, Noah Park, in Vagharshapat, with a target capacity near 15,500 and a completion date pencilled in for 2029. Until ground is broken there, Abovyan remains the address on the ticket.
