Ob Jezeru

The pitch at Ob Jezeru sits by the water — the name itself, Mestni stadion Ob jezeru, means the city stadium by the lake. It has stood there since 1955, home now to NK Rudar Velenje.
The playing surface is natural grass, kept for matchday, with a second pitch alongside laid in artificial turf in 2004 for training.
Address aside, there is little pretence about the place. It has simply outlasted seven decades by the lake it is named for, doing the one job it was built for.
