Ogosta
Until 1990 the ground carried the name of Ivan Avramov, the club's first president; it was renamed Ogosta, after the river that runs through Montana.
The stadium has been rebuilt in stages rather than once. The first serious work came in 1995, adding roughly 2,000 seats along with a new fan zone, an away section and a buffer strip between stands and pitch. Reconstruction returned in 2014, when the running track and playing surface were redone and floodlights and an electronic scoreboard went in; PFC Montana played its home fixtures in Mezdra while the work was underway. A further rebuild in 2017, backed by BGN 1 million from the Ministry of Youth and Sport, replaced the pitch's drainage and turf and finished the lighting.
The record crowd, 11,500 for a match against CSKA Sofia sometime in the 1980s, remains the highest attendance at the ground.
Montana's one appearance in a Bulgarian Cup final grew out of a semi-final played here: a 2-0 win over Beroe in 2015/16 sent the club to Sofia, where CSKA beat them 1-0 at the Vasil Levski National Stadium on 24 May 2016 — the first cup final in the club's history.
