Stadium
OmaSP Stadion
Seinäjoki, Finland
The name gives it away: OmaSP Stadion belongs to a savings bank, not a city.
Nothing about it was compromised to fit a second club or a different sport.
The pitch is heated artificial turf, a detail that matters more here than in most of Europe. Finnish winters run long, and a surface that can be played on regardless of frost keeps the calendar from bending around the weather the way it does at older grounds in the league.
None of this is grand history. OmaSP Stadion is young enough that it has no reconstructions to describe and no former identity to explain — it opened as itself and has stayed that way.
