Osh Central Stadium
Osh's stadium sits by the central square, facing the Ibraimov Drama Theatre. The city administration runs it directly.
It opened in 1961, a date officials repeated as recently as 2023 when President Sadyr Japarov and Cabinet Chairman Akylbek Japarov visited and noted the ground had gone without major repair for over six decades. That changed in 2023–2024, when contractors replaced 11,500 seats, added a canopy over the stands, ramps, new stairways and ventilation, and put down a hybrid pitch to meet FIFA and AFC standards. A refreshed stadium and a new square at the entrance were unveiled in December 2025.
AFC Cup group matches followed in 2017, against Turkmenistan's Altyn Asyr, Tajikistan's Istiklol and Dordoi again. In June 2019, the ground turned to culture rather than sport, hosting the opening ceremony for Osh's year as Cultural Capital of the Turkic World, with more than 250 performers from twelve countries.
