Stelios Kyriakides Stadium (Pafiako Stadium)

Stelios Kyriakides Stadium carries the name of a runner. In 2017 Paphos rolled the dice on a new identity, swapping the old Pafiako Stadium's flat, geographic label for one honouring the Cypriot long-distance runner who won the Boston Marathon.

Long before that, the ground had already settled into a pattern: it has rarely belonged to one club for long. Evagoras, APOP, AEP, APOP Kinyras, AEK Kouklia, AEZ Zakakiou and Karmiotissa have all called it home at different points, and Akritas Chlorakas has used it across two separate spells, most recently from 2025. Since 2014 the main tenant has been Pafos FC, whose rise through Cypriot football has given the stadium its busiest recent chapter — a record crowd of around 9,000 filled it on 18 May 2025 for the visit of AEK Larnaca.

Football has not been the only draw. Cyprus's national rugby side has played there since 2007, and in 1992 the ground hosted matches at the UEFA European Under-18 Championship. Concerts fill the gaps in the fixture list.

The stadium sits on Dimokratias Avenue in the eastern part of Paphos, near the city's archaeological museum, and has no club-run website of its own — it falls under the Cyprus Sports Organisation, the state body responsible for grounds without a single permanent landlord.
