Park Field

The Lantern Stadium is the current name, though for over a decade it was known as The Pakex Stadium.

There is a sense of permanence here, despite the modesty. Potters Bar Town Football Club was formed in 1960 and has played on this patch of natural grass ever since, originally as 'Mount Grace Old Scholars'. The surface is maintained with the care of a community garden, the lines sharp and the grass even. The record crowd of 2,011 gathered on 19 October 2019 for a match against Barnet, a day when the FA Cup fourth qualifying round brought a few extra visitors to Hertfordshire.

Improvements come slowly. More recently, following promotion to the Isthmian Premier, 100 additional seats were added, along with more covered standing areas. The stadium remains a working ground, not a monument.
