Parque Capurro
Montevideo, Uruguay
Centro Atlético Fénix has made the place its home since the ground opened in 1938. The club moved here after playing at various temporary locations, and they have not left since. The capacity is listed as 10,000, but the practical limit for most games is closer to 5,500, with the lower tiers sometimes closing off. For CONMEBOL fixtures the number drops further, to 8,200. The stadium has never carried a sponsor's name, remaining Estadio Parque Capurro throughout its history. It is owned by the Municipality of Montevideo, which keeps the gates open and the lights on, but there is no official website for the ground itself; fans find out about events through the club or the city's general portals.
