Parque Osvaldo Roberto
Formerly: unnamed (before 1948)
The Parque Osvaldo Roberto in Montevideo's Sayago district went almost seven years without carrying that name at all. The ground opened on Avenida Millán in 1941, and it was not until 25 July 1948 that the club fixed the name to the site, honouring Osvaldo Roberto, one of the founders of Racing Club de Montevideo, the team that still calls the ground home.
It sits on the run between Avenida Sayago and Vedia, in a corner of the city that grew up around the club rather than the other way round, and the natural grass pitch has never given way to anything else in the ground's history.
