Party-Rent-Arena

The name on the ground has changed twice inside one lifetime. When the equipment-hire firm Party-Rent bought the naming rights in 2018, it took over a ground that had been named for the tenant, FC Victoria Rosport , rather than for anyone paying to be there.

What sits at 9, rue du Stade began in July 1965 as a playing field and nothing else: no stands, no buildings, just grass marked out. Everything since has been added to that. The grass itself stayed — the pitch is still natural turf.

Rosport is a commune in the canton of Vianden, on the eastern edge of Luxembourg, and the ground reflects it.

The distance between the ground's origin and its present function is the thing worth noticing.
