Poladi

Formerly: Metalurgi, Gorda, Olimpi

Poladi went up in 1948, in the years when Rustavi itself was being built around the metallurgical plant, to a design by the architect Dimitri Melikishvili. Ownership followed the same logic: the ground passed from the city to the works, and only in October 2018 came back to Rustavi's municipality.

It was built for a bigger crowd than it now holds. The original capacity was 10,720. The western stand was closed in 1985, and the 2009 rebuild — individual plastic seats, an artificial surface, floodlights — left a ground that seats 4,657 on a 105×70 pitch.

The tenant kept changing its name rather than its address. Metalurgi played here from 1948 to 2015, as Gorda in the early nineties and again around the turn of the century, then as Olimpi from 2006, taking the Georgian title in 2007 and 2010.

Since then the ground has mostly hosted early Georgian Cup rounds in front of a few hundred people. FC Rustavi, founded in 2015, played here until 2018, moved to the GFF Technical Centre, and returned in 2023 for Liga 3 and youth-team fixtures.
