The Polideportivo Municipal David Santamaría is not a place designed for spectacle. It sits on Calle Regino Pradillo in Guadalajara, a town where the handball team BM Guadalajara plays its matches. The facility is managed by the City Council of Guadalajara (Ayuntamiento de Guadalajara), which maintains the sports department page online.

The floor inside is artificial, a vinyl surface that was replaced in January 2025. The work cost €187,163 and included repairs to the roof. The team was founded in 2007 and reached the top division, Liga ASOBAL, in 2010-2011.

No one knows exactly when the building was constructed. The city does not have a stadium for football, so the handball team uses what is available.
