Q2 Stadium
Q2 Stadium sits on McKalla Place.
It opened on a symbolic note rather than a routine one: the first match played there was not Austin FC's own debut but a fixture between the United States and Nigeria women's national teams, in June 2021.
The build was privately financed, run through Precourt Sports Ventures rather than public funds, at a cost of $260 million . Gensler handled the design, and the finished capacity settled at 20,738 — slightly above what had been sketched out at the planning stage.
Before it carried its current sponsor name, it was known simply as Austin FC Stadium, a placeholder that lasted until the naming-rights deal with Q2 Holdings was signed in January 2021, just months before the doors opened. The pitch is natural grass throughout, with no hybrid reinforcement.
