The Rajko Mitić Stadium sits in the Dedinje district of Belgrade. The seats spell out 'CRVENA ZVEZDA' in white against the red.

The ground was built between 1960 and 1963, fully financed by the GENEX construction company, and opened with a match against NK Rijeka. It was known at the time as the Red Star Stadium, and the original capacity was 110,000 spectators, mostly standing, which earned it the nickname Marakana. The record attendance remains that figure from an April 1975 match against Ferencváros.

In the 1990s, UEFA regulations banning standing areas forced a renovation that converted the entire stadium to seating. The capacity was reduced to approximately 49,167 seats at that point, though current official figures cite 55,538 seats after further work. The playing surface is hybrid grass.

The stadium was renamed from the Red Star Stadium to the Rajko Mitić Stadium in December 2014 in honour of the club's legendary player Rajko Mitić, who lived from 1922 to 2008. The address is Ljutiče Bogdana 1a, and it is the home of FK Crvena zvezda.
