The ground at Cottaweg 3 does not carry the weight of a century; it opened in 2015, though its public presentation took place on 14 October that year. It sits in the Altlindenau district, yet here the noise is different. The capacity is listed at 3,000, but Platz 8, the main pitch, holds just 1,000. The surface is hybrid grass, allowing six other training pitches to coexist on the same 2.3 hectares. You can watch the U19 side here, or the Women's team. The architects, SHA Scheffler Helbich Architekten GmbH, built it to function, not to impress.
