Real Arena
The running track is what went missing. The rebuild of 2017–2019 pulled the track out and brought the terraces down to the touchline.
The money came from three places: the club put in 33 million euros, the Basque government 10 million, the province of Гипускоа four.
On 9 February 2020, Реал Сосьедад beat Атлетик Бильбао 2:1 in front of 36,730. In 2013/14 Аноэта had housed Атлетик's home matches while Сан-Мамес was being rebuilt. The stadium's outright attendance record belongs to rugby: 39,314 for the Top 14 tie between Юнион Бордо-Бегль and Стад Рошле in June 2023.
It was Estadio de Anoeta from 1993 to 2019, then Reale Arena under an insurance sponsorship. In August 2020 the ground took the women's UEFA Champions League final, plus quarter-finals and semi-finals moved here by the pandemic; Вольфсбург beat Олимпик Лион 3:1. Plans announced in December 2023 would push capacity past 41,000 for the 2030 World Cup shortlist.
