Rhein-Neckar-Arena
The preZero Arena opened for football in January 2009, a few weeks after the official inauguration ceremony and a friendly match, with the first Bundesliga fixture following on the 31st. The club, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, moved from the old Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion into a building that cost €60 million to construct.
The surface is a hybrid system, a Fibrelastic reinforced natural grass with a pitch heating system installed beneath the turf. This detail matters in the colder months.
The capacity is 30,150, a figure reached on April 3, 2016, when a Bundesliga match against FC Cologne drew a full house.
The address is Dietmar-Hopp-Straße 1, and the club manages all information through its own channels; a dedicated website for the ground does not exist.
A change of name is scheduled for July 1, 2026, when the venue will become the SNP Arena.
