The cup run is what Ringsted supporters bring up first.
The visits kept coming. Brønshøj BK came on 6 August 2024, and later that season Ringsted IF beat HB Køge 3–1 after extra time in the Round of 16.
That surface matters more than it sounds. Ringsted Stadion plays on artificial grass.
What the ground does not have is a documented beginning. The year it opened and the hands that built it are not recorded anywhere the club or the archives can point to, and no highest attendance has been logged either. Nor has the name moved: no sponsor has ever been attached to it. Concerts go elsewhere in town, to MetroMusik and Lystanlægget; the national team has never played here. Ringsted Stadion has only ever been the home of Ringsted IF.
