Ruoff Mortgage Stadium
Fort Wayne FC Park was the name on the drawings for months before Ruoff Mortgage put its name on the building on 2 April 2026.
Fort Wayne had never had a purpose-built home for its football club, and the ground rising off Bass Road, just west of the I-69 interchange, is the first of its kind in the city. The pitch itself, an AstroTurf LigaTurf surface, was laid to hold up under a schedule with no off-season gaps to spare for resodding.
The stadium opened in stages rather than all at once. The first match played there, on 2 May 2026, was a low-key affair by design: Fort Wayne FC drew with Charlotte Independence in front of a crowd capped at 4,000, while finishing touches were still being made elsewhere in the building. The formal grand opening came two months later, on 4 July 2026, when Fort Wayne FC beat Spokane Velocity FC 3-0 in front of a full house — the date chosen as much for the calendar as for the football.
