SaberCats Stadium
The stadium sits inside Houston Sports Park. Built for the Houston SaberCats, it opened in April 2019 with a match against the Seattle Seawolves and carried the name Aveva Stadium for its first three seasons.
The rugby side that gave the ground its name is now gone. Houston SaberCats folded in September 2025 and will not appear in Major League Rugby's 2026 season. Houston Dynamo 2 have played their MLS NEXT Pro fixtures here since 2022, and Houston Havoc, an ultimate frisbee side in the UFA, joined them in 2023.
Construction ran to roughly $15.25 million, split between a $3.2 million contribution from the city and $12 million from the ownership group. There has been no expansion since. One fixture stands out from the early years: on 1 July 2022, still under the Aveva name, the ground hosted the United States against the French Barbarians.
