Sankyo Frontier Kashiwa Stadium

The name over the gate has changed twice, and Kashiwa Reysol have never played anywhere else. What supporters still call the ground by its old name, Hitachi Kashiwa Stadium, tells its own story: Sankyo Frontier only took over the naming rights in 2018.

The bones of the place are older than the club's top-flight status. When J.League Division 1 was preparing for its first season, the ground had to be brought up to standard in a hurry — four floodlight towers went up in 1993. That patch-and-build history shows in the stadium's scale: 15,349 seats is a small number by J.League standards, and the ground has grown by additions rather than a single rebuild.

The most recent change came at the end of the 2010 season, when the away end gained roughly 3,000 extra places — a rare instance of a club expanding capacity specifically for visiting fans rather than its own. It is a modest, functional stadium rather than a showpiece, and Reysol have stuck with it through every rebrand of the name outside.
