Sardar Azadegan
Ismaeil Abad Road runs to the edge of Qazvin, and the stadium sits there under its official name, sold to visiting fans mostly by its older tag, Shahid Rajaei. It opened in the summer of 2012, built for a city that had gone without a proper ground of its own, and that single-club purpose has held since: Shams Azar Qazvin play here and nowhere else.
Fifteen thousand seats, unchanged since the opening, on a natural pitch that has needed the occasional repair rather than replacement. In 2023 the club put money into upgrading the ground to meet AFC requirements, work done quietly rather than as a rebuild, and the capacity was never part of that conversation — it stayed where it started.
There is no rival venue in Qazvin competing for fixtures, so Sardar Azadegan carries the city's football on its own, in a district known locally as Shahr-e Danesh, the City of Knowledge.
