Sarpsborg Stadion
On 14 October 1945, 18,000 people came for a replay of the Norwegian Cup final between Фредрикстад and Лин, which finished 1:1.
For most of that history the tenant was ФК Спарта Сарпсборг and its predecessor ИЛ Спарта, from 1930 until 2007. Сарпсборг 08 ФФ took over the following year. A new main stand went up along the south side in 2000. In 2009 the running track was lifted, the natural grass replaced with an artificial surface and new floodlights installed. New stands were raised at the south and north ends between 2010 and 2016, the north end rebuilt in 2013. Further work came in 2017 and 2018, tied to the club's run in the UEFA Europa League — and it was in that competition, against Мальмё, that Сарпсборг 08 recorded its own best gate of 8,022, filling the ground to its official capacity.
The pitch has no undersoil heating.
Norway's women's national team plays here regularly, as do the youth sides. A friendly against Канада on 31 May 2005 ended 3:0, with goals from Дагни Меллгрен, Сольвейг Гульбрасен and Тине Рённинг. The ground has also hosted World Cup qualifiers for the women's team and Nordic championship matches at U16 level. Long before that, in 1954 and 1960, it staged the Norwegian athletics championships.
