Seagrave Training Ground
Seagrave, United Kingdom
Formerly: Belvoir Drive (until 2020)
The Leicester City training ground at Seagrave is not a stadium for matches, but the main show pitch holds 499 seats and hosts games for the academy and the women's side. It stands on what was once the Park Hill Golf Club, and the complex opened in December 2020 when the first-team squad moved in from their previous home at Belvoir Drive. The club had not relocated since 1964, so the move marked a long pause in their history. The main building carries the name of the late chairman, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, and the facility cost around £100 million to construct.
There are 21 playing surfaces in total , with 14 full-size pitches and one floodlit main show pitch where the limited number of seats are arranged. A Sports Turf Academy sits within the complex alongside gym and hydrotherapy facilities, and the club provides accommodation for players.
