Serafidio Stadium
Spata, Greece
AEK SportCity sits on the edge of Athens. The Serafidio Stadium opened in 2022, filling a specific gap for the club’s reserve team. It is a venue designed for function, with a capacity of 3,000 seats.
The main stand features a brick-like appearance, a direct visual reference to the club’s former home, the Nikos Goumas Stadium.
The pitch is marked out for matches, and the floodlights are bright enough to meet UEFA Level B standards, though the stadium has yet to host a UEFA Youth League final. The venue serves a broader purpose as well, hosting friendly matches for the senior squad and games for the youth academy, making it a working hub rather than a monument.
It is a quiet place compared to the main stadium in the city centre.
