SPA Geestemünder SC, Platz 1

Geestemünde's ground has no history of Bundesliga scouts or cup finals to draw on. Platz 1 sits inside the Bezirkssportanlage Bürgerpark, on the grounds of the Bürgerpark itself. Geestemünder SC, founded in 1904, still calls it home, and since 2016 it has shared the pitch with ESC Geestemünde, formed when Geestemünder SC merged with FT Geestemünde and ESV Bremerhaven.

The pitch itself is unremarkable by design: natural grass, room for 1,200 spectators. Bremerhaven keeps its larger stages, the Nordseestadion and the Harlos Arena, for occasions that need them.

The rest of the ground's story is harder to pin down — no confirmed date exists for when the pitch itself first opened, even though the wider Bürgerpark traces back to 1899 and opened to the public in 1908.
